Captain America and Chris Evans both began their journeys as earnest students of the arts hoping to find their way, but their origin stories went in different directions from there. 

Teenage Evans composed a very earnest cover letter to send to casting agencies hoping to secure an internship, as you probably assumed all future action stars do when they are young.

"I am writing this letter to introduce myself to you and to make myself available to your firm for possible internship work during the summer of 1998," wrote high school junior Evans. "My name is Christopher Evans and I am a high school junior with an intense passion for theatre."
