“When We Write, We Win: A Conversation with Four Women Writers” will take place on Sunday, March 16, from 2 to 3:30 p.m. at North Hollywood Amelia Earhart Regional Branch Library, 5211 Tujunga Ave., North Hollywood.

Writers Ryane Nicole Granados (middle-grade fiction), traci akemi kato-kiriyama (poetry and memoir), Kate Maruyama (science fiction and literary fiction), and Lisa Morton (horror and the supernatural) will sit down together to discuss their fiction and nonfiction writing, the challenges women confront in publishing, their victories and disappointments, and how they work to help other writers.

Copies of some of their books will be available to borrow with a library card. You may also bring your own books for them to sign.
