Senshin Buddhist Temple, 1311 W. 37thSt. in Los Angeles, will hold its Obon festivities on Saturday, June 29. The schedule:

4:30 p.m.: Hatsubon service for loved ones who have passed since the last Obon.

7 p.m.: Bon Odori with raffle drawing during intermission.

9 p.m.: Omairi in Hondo and Sento Shogon (ceremony with 1,000 oil lamps).

10 p.m.: Otoki (meal) and Horaku with Kinnara Taiko.
