【??? ?????? ??????? ???????? ??????? ????? ???】Used Kimono and Japanese Accessory Sale This Weekend in Torrance

A garage-sale style used kimono two-day event will be held on Saturday, Aug. 31, and Sunday, Sept. 1, from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Mai no Kai Japanese classical dance studio, 18097 Prairie Ave. in Torrance. Parking is available.
The vintage kimono vendor Kimonoya L.A. and individuals, including Mai no Kai members, will be selling used kimono, obi, yukata, accessories, and other Japanese items.
In addition, handmade accessories vendor Harumi Runage and calligrapher Yofu will be joining the sale, bringing the total to six booths.
The pop-up garage sale is held every few months by individual kimono vendors and individuals who want to get rid of the kimonos in their closets.
Organizer Chiharu Nakajima, who also serves as a vendor, says, “This is the first two-day attempt at Mai no Kai. It’s a Japanese dance studio, Come and look for bargains in a Japanese atmosphere.”
Specials start at $10, vintage kimono start at $29, and new yukata start at $39. As the venue is a dance studio, shoes are strictly prohibited in some areas. Come with footwear that is easy to put on and take off.
